Discipleship Team – TCC desires for each member, from the smallest of babies to the most seasoned veteran, to be growing in the knowledge and grace of God. TCC members faithfully serve each Sunday by teaching the Scriptures to all age levels. TCC does not offer classes during the summer so that teachers may have a sabbatical.
Connections Team – We have a Connections Team whose job is to show hospitality to our guests and to find ways to care and serve our visitors in order to carry out TCC’s desire to love all who come through our doors. The Connections Team serves once every two weeks.
Greeter Ministry – Our greeters are normally the first faces you see as you walk into the IMAX Theater for church on Sunday, and they are here to welcome you and to direct you to our worship facility. Greeters serve once a month.
Music Team – Since we are commanded to address one another with psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, the music team leads TCC in speaking truth to one another through song. Musicians serve on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Nursery – TCC provides care and instruction for babies and children under the age of five during the worship service. Nursery workers serve approximately once every two months.
Power Point Team – To aid TCC in her worship through song, the power point technician operates the computer to ensure readability of all the songs. Power point technicians serve once a month.
Resource Table – TCC offers a wide variety of books to assist her members in applying the gospel to their lives as well as encouraging them in doctrine and in the roles God has designed for them. Those heading up the resource table assist members and visitors to find that perfect read as well as order new books as they become available.
Set Up & Tear Down Team – A vital element to any church plant is men and women who are willing to give of their time to set up and tear down each week. Since TCC finds herself in a season of mobility, set up and tear down teams are needed on a weekly basis.
Sound – Sound technicians assist the music team by regulating the sound for Sunday morning worship. These individuals serve approximately once a month.
Throughout the Week:
Babysitting Ministry: TCC desires to care for her pastors well. One way TCC does this is by offering child care for the pastors’ date nights. Members serve roughly once every two-three months.
Community Group Leaders and Substitutes: TCC emphasizes community and covenantal care among her members, and one way to nurture this care is through community groups. TCC members meet in groups of twenty at a local member’s home to discuss the sermon from the previous Sunday as well as to discuss life concerns with each other. Community group leaders serve weekly in facilitating the weekly discussions. Substitutes fill in when leaders are away once a month for leadership training and care.
Design - Individuals gifted with design utilize their gifts as needed with various outreach and inreach projects.
Family Room – TCC aims to help build strong families by offering the Family Room once a quarter. The goal of Family Room is to strengthen individual families through seminar style instruction about good communication, money management, gender roles, child rearing and more. An administrator needs to coordinate all the activities involved with the Family Room, which includes childcare, food prep, set up, tear-down, and any other need.
Fellowship – TCC desires to provide numerous opportunities throughout the year for members to get together and enjoy one another’s company. The fellowship team is responsible for coordinating these fellowships and ensuring that all of the tasks are taken care of for the various fellowships.
Food Ministry Team – Various stores are willing to give their outdated goods to various charities, and TCC needs members to pick up food from these stores and bring the food to church on Sunday morning for distribution to members and visitors. Food Ministry members serve approximately every two months.
Tech Team – The tech team is responsible for providing tech support for TCC’s computer hardware and software programs. In addition, they are responsible for designing the church’s website and updating the information as needed.
